Opportunities

• Postdoctoral fellow: We would be happy to host a postdoc through NPDF (SERB) or WISE-PDF (DST). Interested candidates are encouraged to contact me with CV. Below you will find our research interest.
• PhD position: We are looking for motivated PhD students having good academic records throughout with some previous project experience in the following research areas:

1. frustrated quantum magnets, Mott metal-insulator transition, phase transition (classical and quantum), critical phenomna, skyrmion, superconductivity, and magnetism
2. measurements at very low temperatures, high magnetic fields and high pressures including sample preparation
3. instrumentation
4. Theoretical modelling: First-principles density functional theory (DFT) for electronic band structure calculations

NB: PhD candidates should have an M.Sc. degree in Physics with valid GATE/ CSIR-NET/ JEST/ Inspire or similar independent fellowships.
